10 inch Lenovo ThinkPad spotted

Lenovo have been thinking about doing a 10 inch version of their X100e. Apart from a support page which appeared on the IBM site, we haven’t heard much else from the company. It seems however that the company have done more than mull it over but, have released the netbook to schools in Australia. A user of the Whirlpool forums, has spotted several of the netbooks at a school in NSW, Australia and will be making it’s way to public schools there. One reader of Netbooked also reports that he’s due to get the ThinkPad Mini 10 this week.

The ThinkPad Mini 10, sports the same chassis as the X100e but with “Mini 10″ printed where “X100e” was. Also the bezel around the screen is thicker. Lenovo’s Mini 10 also comes equipped with the Intel Atom N450 processor and GMA 3150 graphics, instead of the AMD CPU and ATI graphics found in the X100e.
