11.6-Inch Acer Aspire One Gets the Unboxing Treatment

My good friend Abe got his hands on a brand new Acer Aspire One AO751 – that 11.6-inch Acer netbook running on 1.33 GHz Intel Atom X520 Processor.

I actually saw this one already a couple of days ago in one of the local Computer shops in our area and I was really impressed with its build and form factor. It’s almost as big as the 13-inch MacBook Pro already.

Anyway Abe noted that the box of the model he got says it was supposed to be WAN-ready but noticed that there was no 3G modem in the machine.

He also compared the AO751 with the older D150 and noticed that the AO751 is slimmer.

The Acer Aspire One AO751 retails for around $569 equivalent in Philippine Peso. It’s pretty stiff although the netbook offers up to 8 hours of battery life.
