16GB Nexus 7 out of stock in the UK

The Nexus 7 tablet from Google is proving to be a huge hit. Not only is the tablet officially from Google and the first to run Android 4.1 but, the price point is also very attractive. In the UK, the 16GB model is available for just £199 and the 8GB for £159. For £40 difference, it’s no wonder that many are choosing the 16GB variant over the 8GB, especially when you factor in that the Nexus 7 doesn’t have expandable memory.

The 16GB Nexus 7 has a lot of things going for it so it’s not really too much of a surprise to see that the 16GB model is showing as out of stock in the UK on the Google Play Store. The 8GB model however, is still readily available to purchase. The 16GB model simply lists as coming soon and for those interested in purchasing the tablet, all you can do is register your interest to be notified when Google have the tablet back in stock. Over in the US, the Nexus 7 is still available to purchase but, there is a 1-2 week shipping delay.
