$249 Samsung Chromebook Now Has Netflix!

Samsung ChromebookJust at about five months posterior the classical release of the Samsung Chromebook for $249, it is now blessed with Netflix. Well, some analysts and bloggers say that such news had been anticipated from the beginning so it isn’t really a surprise. What attacks the element of surprise is the help given by the Microsoft.

Samsung Chromebook had been out since October last year and owners were enjoying the device without the Netflix. Change being a constant trend, Google made another proof as it announced support for the Netflix on the Chromebook, with content delivered via HTML5. What’s even better to hear about is that update is no longer needed; users can simply navigate to the Netflix website, login and start watching movies or television shows.

It is interestingly curious that Netflix is working on just now. As one Google spokesperson puts it, “the solution is the result of collaboration with Netflix and Microsoft.”

This is quite a revelation to unveil because it could be remembered that initially, Google reasoned that the lack of Netflix on the Samsung dealt with a Chrome plug-in and Google’s Native Client efforts; neither of which Microsoft would likely have anything to do with.

At any rate, whatever this is, why don’t we just savour the blessings and enjoy?
