30 Units of Prime Note Cartina UM Netbook Up for Grabs in Japan

Quite honestly, I don’t really get why Dospara, a Japanese company would come out with a new netbook such as the Prime Note Cartina UM, this late in the game. Aside from being a little late in joining the netbook wars, the said netbook will also be available only in Japan – and only 30 units of it will be released for those who might be interested to buy it.
From its looks and specs, the Prime Note Cartina UM Netbook is a feature-rich netbook worthy of getting in line with other netbooks available in the market today. Here are its specs if you are curious to know:
- 8.9-inch WSVGA LCD
- Atom N270 Processor
- 120GB HDD
- 1GB of RAM
- WiFi
- Linux OS
Those are definitely standard features of a netbook right? So, why on earth would a company release only 30 units of such a promising netbook? I guess, we will never find out.
