7 and 8.9 inch Asus Eee PC models reduced

Asus have been phasing out their 7 inch netbook models for a while now, with 8.9 inch models speculated to follow, in favour of 10 inch display models. Digitimes have reported that both 7 inch and 8.9 inch models have received a price cut to "clear inventory". The 7 inch model is available for $4,999 TWD ($153) instead of $6,999 TWD ($214). In China, the Asus Eee PC 900A price has been slashed to 1,499 Yuan ($219).
