Acer Aspire One AOD270 now Available in the US

The AOD270 is a netbook featuring the Cedar Trail platform. This netbook was already released in Europe and now Amazon upped this machine for pre-orders in the US market.

The Espresso Black and Aquamarine models are at $279.99, slightly cheaper than the Seashell White and the Burgundy Red which sits at $284.61 price tag. Other than colors, there are no notable differences in the specifications listed on Amazon. The specs are pretty basic. This netbook has 10.1″ screen, Atom N2600 CPU, a gig of RAM, 320GB HDD, Win 7 Starter and an 8-hour battery life. The netbooks’ thickness is 1″ and the weight is at 2.87 lbs. Unfortunately, the specs don’t list any HDMI out or USB 3.0 which is supposed to be the standard of Cedar Trail. Stay tuned for more updates.
