Acer intro two Windows 8 tablets

Just a couple of weeks ago we heard that Acer were likely to announce Windows 8 powered tablets at Computex in Taiwan. Computex 2012 is under way and Acer have indeed unveiled some Windows 8 tablets. Two in fact.

The Acer Iconia W700 has an 11.6 inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 and features several USB 3.0 ports, as well as Dolby Home Theatre audio. You can also pick up a cradle stand that positions the W700 in a 20 or 70 degree angle.

The W510 on the other hand has a keyboard dock and can be hooked up to a HD TV via the HDMI port. The Iconia W510 packs a 10.1 inch IPS display, 8 megapixel camera, micro USB port and a microSD and SIM card slot. Pricing hasn’t been announced for either tablet yet.
