Acer is working on two Acer Aspires to rival the Asus Eee PC
Posted in: asus, competitorElectronista has posted some details about two new Acer sub-notebooks which is a direct rival to both the 7-inch and 9-inch Asus Eee PC. One of these two Acer low-cost notebooks would have an 8.9 inch lcd display while the other one, tentatively named Acer Slim Gemston Aspire systems will sport a 12.1 display screen. Both notebooks will used Intel's new Atom processor and would have either Lunix or Windows XP.
For data storage, consumers will be given the option to either have a conventional hard drive or an SDD storage similar to the Asus Eee PC.
The two new Acer notebook will sell for around $300 and $450
