Acer Unveils Three New Ultrabooks
After the Aspire S3 made known in the ultrabook industry, Acer is now setting up a new line up of ever thinner and lighter laptops. Introducing the three new ultrabooks of Acer, the 13.3-inch Aspire S5, and the two 14 and 15-inch display Timeline Ultra notebooks.
The Aspire S5 equips the Intel Core i-series processor and solid state disk measures at a 0.59-inch thick. Similarly with other typical ultrabooks, the S5 enables to boot and resume from sleep more quickly. It has the ‘Smart Connect’ technology in charge for downloading electronic mails, social network updates as well as other related-info even when the notebook is on sleep mode. Also, it will have the Dolby Home Theater v4 sound and a ‘MagicFlip’ hiding the USB 3.0, HDMI and Thunderbolt docks.
Whereas the Timeline Ultra laptops will come with larger slim displays to carry optical disk drives, solid state disk and/or hard drives with a 0.79-inch thickness. Acer plans to launch the Aspire S5 in Q2 while the Timeline Ultra notebooks will be available in the first quarter of this year.
