Finally, Acer has made what has been rumored as its first NVIDIA I-on based nettop official. The said nettop will now be called the Acer AspireRevo. This Acer nettop features advanced graphics and multimedia features that is sure to rival Asus Eee PC Nettops. Hence, the NVIDIA Ion graphics.

With the NVIDIA Ion graphics on-board, it looks like Acer will be marketing this nettop as a machine for movie viewing, gaming, digital photo sharing as well as other computer tasks. In short, the Acer AspireRevo is an all-in-one machine.

In fact, the Acer AspireRevo is capable of  playing Blu-ray movies in all its goodness. You can just attach a blu-ray player to the nettop and you can start enjoying Blu-ray movies anytime, anywhere.

Other features of the Acer AspireRevo include, Windows Vista Premium for OS, 1080HD video with true-fidelity 7.1 audio, popular games including Spore, Call of Duty 4 and more, DirectX 10 graphics, accelerated video enhancement and transcoding using NVIDIA CUDA technology.

Pricing and release date are still to be announced though. But expect its price to bank of the more affordable side like many other Acer machines.
