For those looking into getting an 8.9-inch netbook that bears that magical Eee PC brand but wouldn’t want to spend more than $500, now is you chance to have the Eee PC 900 at a $100 less its current market price. Amazon is offering $100 rebates for all four models of the Eec PC 900.

So from the original price of $549.99, the Eee PC 900 20GB Galaxy Black model can be had for only $439.49 minus all discounts and mail-in rebates. While the Pearl White edition with the same specs is currently selling at an SRP of $449.99 from its original price of $549.99.

Meanwhile, the 12GB Eee PC 900 Pearl White which originally cost $549.99 can now be bought for $449.99 as well. While its Galaxy Black counterpart is now selling for $439.49 from its original price of $593.99.

Just a reminder, the Eee PC 900 comes with the Intel Mobile CPU and not the Atom processor. So, you might want to give it a second thought whether you won’t be needing a faster netbook or not.
