But, honestly, with the Eec PC 903, 904 and 905 coming, plus the 1000 and 1000h, would you still consider buying the Eee PC 901?
If you do, be prepared to shell out around $599. The Amazon Eee PC 901 comes with 8.9-inch display, Intel ATOM processor, 1GB RAM, Linux OS/Windows XP. Both the 20GB and 12GB and Black and Pearl White models are available. Funny thing is, there doesn’t seem to be a price difference among all these models. What’s up with that?

Yes, I am ordering this. It’s small screen means the smallest footprint available in an atom processor based unit. Small is what I thought this whole thing was supposed to be about. The 904 on up used the larger chassis which means a larger machine.
There should be no price difference. The linux machine has a larger hard drive (incorrectly labeled on one of the Amazon entries) to make up for the cost of the Windows OS.
