Amazon to Have New Dual-Display Kindle Tablet?

Unbelievable, but very true. Amazon has sent in an application for a patent of a Kindle with dual-display. Bringing up the question if Amazon will be launching a new Kindle Fire.

The new Kindle will feature two displays, one in front and the other at the back. Why the need for two display screens anyway? The other one is said to be a normal LED screen with electronic display, while the other one will be for anything that requires you to move the images around. How to simply explain this use of two panels? One is for reading and the other one is for browsing.

The other LCD will the full color and touch functions that are normally for tablets, you can use this side to browse or any task that requires moving of images. The other display will solely be for E-ink, so definitely this side will be for ebooks and reading. Impressive as it may sound, but will a two display Kindle you are looking into constantly wiping away at the smudges.

Amazon isn’t expected to produce this king of Kindle Fire, the technology will probably be seen in a year or two. But don’t expect to see any of these two-faced Kindles anytime soon, since the patent is for application.
