Android Jelly Bean confirmed for Iconia tablets

Earlier we heard that Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean had been rolled out to Wi-Fi only Motorola Xoom tablets and Acer have confirmed that they too will be updating their tablets to the latest version of Android. Currently the Acer Iconia Tab 110, Iconia Tab A200, Iconia Tab 510 and Iconia Tab 700 run Android 4.0 and are expected to be updated to Android Jelly Bean.

Unfortunately, although Acer have confirmed that the Android 4.1 update is on the way, Acer haven’t confirmed which tablets will be getting the update. Nor have they specified when they will begin rolling the Android update out. Hopefully Acer will follow this announcement up with exact models and time frame.
