Apple iPad Pre-Selling Like Hotcakes

In case you might be sleeping for the past couple of hours, you might have missed the opening up of the Apple pre-order page for the iPad. Actually, right now, reports had it that the Apple Store got 50,000 units pre-ordered in the first two hours right after Apple started accepting pre-orders.

Suffice to say, despite the flaws and shortcomings of these much-talked about product, the Apple iPad is still selling like hotcakes.

If you haven’t done so and has been waiting for this day to arrive, you might want to check out the Apple Store and pre-order a unit. For your information, Apple has limited the pre-order to two units per customer.

You can reserve those two units for pick up at a nearby Apple Store on April 3 between 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Or you can opt to have it shipped to your doorstep. Either way, you will still get that precious Apple iPad in due time.

And as previously announced both versions of the iPad – Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G will be available for pre-order. But you can only get your iPad Wi-Fi 3G during the later part of April. Only the Wi-Fi model will be available for shipment on April 3. In addition, all the other variants of these two models are already available for pre-order as well. These variants include the 1GB, 32GB and 64GB models.
