Apple netbook lives through fanboy’s design

Even though Apple insists that it isn’t actively working on a netbook, its legion of followers just can’t get over the fact that they can, and they will probably own the competition once they do step into the netbook arena. We’re about as near to seeing an Apple netbook as we are to becoming friends with Santa Claus, though, so until that day comes, we’ll just have to satisfy ourselves with fan-made mock-ups.

What you see here is one such thing, made by Japanese photographer Isamu Sanada. This design for an Apple netbook doesn’t only fold in half, it folds three ways, touting a large multi-touch trackpad on its third foldable flap. It actually looks quite decent, not to mention sexy. Here’s hoping Apple takes some design cues from this 3D render *if* they ever decide to work on it for real.

Just put a TrackPoint nipple on the keyboard and you can get rid of a third of this design…

I would have top disagree on the nipple thing, then it would be more of an IBM design than a mac the idea is right, I think if you made it not foldable and made the [pad very small say 1.5 inches by 2 inches and put it right in the middle underneath the spacebar and then put on button grey or black so that it stays with the black keys although if it were a true mac the keys would be like a grey or white =) but I would say no nipples those I think have died out long ago

i think the foldable design is better than just having a trackpoint nipple.
