Apple Tablet in the Works?
Alright Apple fan boys, this could probably the closest thing that we could ever get to knowing that there is after all an Apple tablet in the works. According to the Taiwan Economic News, battery supplier Dynapro is expecting to manufacture 300,000 units/month to provide the supply for the said Apple tablet.
In addition, another Taiwanese company, Wintek is said to be supplying the touch panels for the said tablet. Wintek is the same supplier which Apple tapped for the iPhone.
The rumored Apple tablet is rumored to have a 9.6-inch touchscreen with finger-touch function and built-in HSDPA. It will also adopt a P.A. SEMI processor chip and long lasting battery pack. The HSDPA module is rumored to be handled by of course AT&T the sole distributor of the iPhone in the U.S.
But more importantly, the said Apple tablet might likely get a price tag of between $799 and $999.
