Apple Unveils the iPad Tablet, e-Book Reader, iPod Touch Rolled into One
There you go boys and girls. After weeks of speculating, rumor spreading and photo leaking, Apple has finally put to a rest to our anticipation. Steve Jobs has announced their latest creation, a magical and revolutionary device with an unbelievable price – the Apple iPad.
Alright you may stop laughing, giggling or smiling now. I know the name sucks. But hey, it’s still is an Apple product.
So, what does the iPad has to offer for all of us inflicted with the so called GAS ?(Gadget Acquisition Syndrome)?
Here are the iPad specs:
- 9.7-inch IPS Display
- 1GHz Apple A4 Chips
- Capacitive multi-touch screen
- Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth
- 16GB to 64GB Flash storage
Software-wise, it will support the iTunes and the Apps store plus Apple is also launching an e-book store called iBooks. Yes dear folks, the iPad is also an e-book reader.

- $499 for the base 16GB Wi-Fi
- $599 for the 32GB model Wi-Fi
- $699 for the 64GB model Wi-Fi
- $629 for the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G
- $729 for the 32GB Wi-Fi +3G
- $829 for the 64GB Wi-Fi +3G
So, netbook manufacturers can now rest easy knowing the fact that the Apple is not competing in the netbook market.
