The Archos 8 has a different design than previous MIDs from the company and carries a digital picture frame chassis. It costs US$179. With these tablets being aimed at home use, it packs in some good media playback and streaming capabilities and a host of other apps for browsing, social networking and more.
I was hoping they had a bit more in the features department to compete with the other upcoming tablets. We’ll know more about that soon when Archos gives us more details.
