Archos Arnova 9 G3 Tablet Visits the FCC
Archos is proud to introduce the new Archos Arnova 9 G3. This tablet features 9.7-inch display, and will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It will also likely to have a relatively low retail price.
This week, the tablet made an appearance in the official website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) which means that the device will be out in the market soon.
Archos is generally known for offering budget tablets, especially in the Arnova line. This particular tablet, the Arnova 9 G3, is a third-generation tablet that comes packed with a 9.7-inch, IPS screen with a pixel display resolution of 1024 x 768. It runs on a single core Rockchip RK2918 processor with a clock speed of 1 GHz. It is also equipped with 1 GB of RAM, and 4 GB of storage. The device weighs 1.4 pounds, which is similar to the iPad.
Along with this model, Archos is also releasing the Arnova 7b G3, which has a 7-inch 800 x 400 display; Arnova 8b G3, which has an 8-inch, 800 x 600 display; and Arnova 10b G3, which comes with a 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600 display. All these tablets have Android 4.0 onboard.
