Archos Child Pad Soon to Hit US Tablet Market
The UK company Archos is geared up to make its hit in trade. Although the recently announced Archos Child Pad availability last month has failed, this ideal present for your child may be offered in stores before long. The Child Pad has made a pit stop at FCC for assessment and obtains its stamp of approval.
Its name offers a hint that the Pad is aptly designed for kids. It provides fun, full tablet experience as it offers child-friendly applications. The Kids App Store, powered by AppsLib, is filtered down to 14-friendly categories and 10,000 apps including games, entertainment, communication, multimedia, books, comics, sports, and a lot.
What’s more is that it proposes parental control and secure browsing powered by Editions Profil. It also comes with preloaded 28 games and apps including Angry Birds,Pig Rush and Flight Frenzy.
This 7-inch, 800 x 480-pixel resolution touchscreen Pad is supported by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and an unspecified 1 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. It would cut down children’s boredom as its battery may hold up to 8 hours of video playback or 16 hours of music usage. Moreover, its backside manifests a rubberized texture to prevent it from slipping off their teeny tiny hands.
Its price would be $129 and will eventually hit the US stores shortly.
