Archos G10 XS Arrives With Google Play In Tow
Nope, this French tablet maker isn’t out of the running yet. The Archos G10 XS is indeed coming to stores. And finally, it is now Google certified! What that means is that their tablets will now come with official Google Apps like Gmail and Calendar, and of course everyone’s favorite: Google Play. Finally no more fancy rooting required.
And one thing that sets it apart from the rest (though it is becoming increasingly more common) is the presence of a detachable keyboard dock. It’s just like the Eee Pad Transformer in that sense and some teaser trailers have revealed as much though you’ll have to wait for the real thing if you want to see it for yourself.
Archos did tease it a bit on its Facebook page. It seems like the launch is imminent, likely before the end of August though there is no confirmed date yet.
All we know from the ports in the pic is that there is a microSD slot, a mini HDMI port and a standard microUSB port for both charging and data transfer. We’ll have to sit on this one for a bit for now.
