By now I’m sure you’re already familiar with the Archos 10 netbook. It’s got typical netbook features, including a 10-inch screen, 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM and Windows XP as its OS. Seems adequate, but it could use a little upgrade. Which is why we’re not entirely surprised to find out that Archos may soon intro a new version of this very same netbook, with a few new features and possibly a price reduction for the old model.

According to press release, Archos is preparing to launch the Archos 10s, a netbook encased in a metal shell that’s scheduled to go on sale on April. Among its main selling points are: dual WiFi and 3.5G connectivity, 20mm thickness, 6-cell battery. Expect to learn more about this as more info comes in.
