Arnova Unveils 7e G2 Dual Touch eReader

Archos has just unveileded a product refresh to their Archos 70b/c eReader with the new Arnova 7e G2 Dual Touch. With its 7-inch Dual Touch full colored screen and it’s powerful 1 GHz processor, this device really combines the best of a tablet with the best of an eReader.

The ARNOVA 7e G2 features a large 7-inch touchscreen. Thanks to its crisp 800 x 480 pixel display in 16:9 ratio, you can surf the web or watch your full HD videos the way they’re meant to be. The processor sits inside an extra-slim 11.2 mm body that weighs only 370 grams. This makes the ARNOVA 7e G2 perfect while gathering around on the sofa at home or slip into a carry case for when on the go.

The processor used on the 7e is an ARM Cortex A8 running at 1 GHz, you can expect a Rockchip RK2918, which is common to other Arnova G2 units. Arnova 7e G2 Dual Touch is eBook reading oriented with the two buttons (like a left and right) on each side of the tablet. Moreover, with its specially made version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, it provides the ARNOVA 7e G2 Dual Touch a smart combination between high performance hardware and intuitive software.
