Somewhere in Taiwan a special netbook with not so stunning features is selling well. What makes this netbook special enough to gain 500 sold units is the fact that it is sporting an Astroboy-inspired design. The Astroboy netbook has a white silohuette of the famous Japanese anime character on the top cover of its bezel and and under it.

Another special feature of this Astroboy netbook is the fact that it is being sold in Taiwan as part of a great package – a DVD Burner, USB Flash Drive, USB Speakers, External Hard Drive and memory card reader.

Nothing much to brag about its specs though – Intel Atom Processor N270 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 10.1-inch TFT-LCD screen (1024×600), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1.3 MP webcam and Windows XP OS.

The Astroboy netbook sells for around $614 at PCHomes website.
