Some people complained about the operating system used in EEE PCs. Vendors were modifying the PCs to make it Windows compatible. Looking after this, Asus is releasing its EEE PCs with Microsoft Windows XP.  Asus North America has planned to launch the laptops by end of this year. However, the actual price is yet to be known. We can say that prices will be increased. This is because till now Asus was using Linux as the operating system (which is obviously free).  We have to add MS tax to the actual price.   Hardware of this mini notebook will be the same as current version.  Microsoft Windows XP will be offered in 4G and 8G models of EEE PCs
