Asus Eee Pad for $399-$499, to be Released in Q1 2011

And so Computex 2010 which is about to kick off tomorrow in Taipei heats up with advanced press release issued by none other than Asus with its tablet PC called, guess what? – the Eee Pad. Engadget has the full press release right now and from what we can read from it the Eee Pad seems to be a pretty exciting new product line. In fact, Asus will be coming out with two Eee Pads, one with a 10-inch display and the other a 12-inch tablet.

Let’s see, the Eee Pad EP121 is a 12-inch tablet PC powered by Intel Core 2 Duo CULV CPU, Windows 7, 10-hour battery life, dock/keyboard solution, and an integrated webcam.

The 10-inch Eee Pad EP101TC  is the 10-inch model with Windows Embedded Compact 7.

Price of these Eee Pads range from $399-$499 and it will be available not until Q1 2011.
