Asus Eee PC 1005PR in All Its Crystal HD Goodness
Posted in: 10-inch, Netbook, asus, eeepc, tags: eee pc 1005prIn case we might have missed covering this, Asus has also displayed the Eee PC 1005PR during the CeBIT event last week. What’s interesting about this netbook is the fact that it is loaded with Broadcom Crystal HD graphics accelerator. What this does to the netbook is to boost its 1080p resolution display capability especially since it will be paired with the Intel Pine Trail. Aside from this, the Broadcom Crystal HD also helps in reducing the netbook’s CPU utilization by 20-25% when playing movies in high definition. What the netbook can’t do however is to handle 3D acceleration.
Other features of the Eee PC 1005PR include – Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, X3150 integrated graphics chip, 1GB of rAM, 250GB of HDD, 10.1-inch diagonal display, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
