Asus Eee PC 1015P Hits the FCC, Promises 15 Hours Battery Life

Still remember the Asus Eee PC 1015P which was previewed during the CeBIT 2010?  After that preview nothing much has been heard about this new Eee PC netbook, until now.  The folks at Wireless Goodness spotted the Eee PC 1015P gracing the table of the FCC and getting the agencies approval.

Of course you know what this means right? It means, this Eee PC will soon be gracing US netbook stores pretty soon. Not really sure on the exact date when this will be available for sale, but knowing how popular Eee PC’s are in the U.S. market, expect the Eee PC 1015P to grace the shelves of BestBuy, Amazon and other online electronics distributor.

In case you forgot already, the Eee PC 1015P boasts of the usual Intel Atom N450 CPU and the rest of the standard netbook specs. But what’s interesting about this netbook is the fact that it promises a long 15 hours of battery life. Now, that’s pretty exciting.
