Asus fulfilled its promise to release the 9-inch version of the Asus Eee PC this week. It is actually released today in Hong Kong. PC Market has the details of the actual package. Most of the features mentioned during the pre-release are found in the final version of the 9-inch Asus Eee PC. The package either comes with Linux or Windows XP OS. Here are some of the technical details of the 9-inch Asus Eee PC:
- 1GB DDR II RAM
- 8.9-inch screen
- 1.3 megapixel webcam
- Wi-Fi
- Battery life of 2.9-3.5 hours
- 12 GB SSD (for Windows XP version)
- 20 GB SSD (for Linux version)
