Asus Eee PC 9-Inch Will Have Bluetooth and More

The anticipation over the upcoming 2nd-Gen Asus Eee PC heats up as some new hot photos from the FCC were discovered. Daily Tech has identified several of these features and enhancements:

  • Larger power adapter -this might affect the “mobility” factor of the Asus Eee PC
  • Bluetooth connectivity – See the photos for proof
  • Multi-finger gesture input – Similar to what is used in iPod Touch.  Now this is the sweetest part!

I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves. All I can hope for is that they won’t put in too much high end features into the new Asus Eee PC that it would affect its price too much. The Asus Eee PC 7-inch’s success was partly due to its affordability.

    superb story…
I could really embrace the touchpad now that accepts the multi-gestures and bluetooth! I can see now why the price rose to $500…it’s really worth it this time!
All I need to know now is if it’s going to accept HDD upgrades or not. Now that that the SDK is out, this little nifty gadget will probably be the industry leader…goodbye iPod, hello Eee PC. I bet you anything you want that this will be one of the highest selling gadgets in 2008 Holidays! I can see the lines now…

I think Asus has a winner. Now, cross fingers for GPS!
What I did dislike is the power block!! It’s probably not their fault, I think it’s for satefy purposes. I just hope that you can still use the Previous Generation’s Power Adapter, it would be big selling accesory for those on the go!
