ASUS Eee PC 904HA released

Asus EEE PC 904HA have the same specifications as 900HA (1.6 GHz Intel ATOM N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home) but have a 6-cell battery and the same casing as the 1000-series (notice the big frame around the screen).

It will be available in green, red and black (see eeepcnews.de for more pictures).

Amazon.com have the black model up for pre-order for $399.99

    I have one of these lovely machines. I love it, except finding a crystal case for it has been hard. I bought a 900 series case and its too small but the screen protector it came with is the right size. I’m guessing I need a 1000 size case but to keep my current screen protector? (Nobody seems to sell EEE PC 904HA crystal case)

    I’ve had mine for over 6 months and totally love it. I have found that the motherboard inside of this unit to be the 1000h version with only the 9″ screen being the difference. I’m using dual boot with two operating systems both XP and Mandriva 2009.1 are running very well.

    The speakers on mine are located at the bottom front (not in the screen frame) of the unit and i’ve noticed with my UK model there’s a full version of Microsoft office 2007 included aswell. The battery life i can squeeze out of this with light use is upto 5 hours wireless off and up to 4 hours with wireless on.

    I love this notebook so much i can’t stop picking it up and using it. 5 stars from me all the way.
