Asus Eee Pad Confirmed to Have an ARM Chip and 3G Option

Alright if you didn’t like what Steve Jobs’ unveiled yesterday, the magical and revolutionary device with an affordable price – the iPad you might want to wait up for Asus’ Eee Pad instead. Hmmm, yeah Eee Pad does sound better than iPad.

Anyway, Asus Corporate VP Eric Chen confirmed that the Eee Pad will be powered by an Arm processor and will also be loaded with 3G chip to ensoure connectivity at all times.

The Asus Eee PC will have a nice UI similar to the iPhone – easy to use, fun to look at.

Mr. Chen however did not say anthing about the Eee Pad pricing as well wether it will have Nvidia Tegra 2.

What could be more probably is that it may run Google Chrome OS or Android to make computing faster.
