Asus Eee PC is PC World’s Hardware of the Year

And so, the Eee PC continues to reap accolades from tech award giving bodies. After getting Stuff TV Mag’s Most Coveted Gadget of the year, the Eee PC just got the Hardware of the Year award from PC World. The winners were choosen by on the answers given by around 15,000 respondents who took part in the survey reporting on the products’ reliability. The survey also included UK’s top IT retailers and Internet Service Providers.

The Eee PC was the top choice among respondents for how it revolutionize and made popular the “netbook” product category. The Eee PC beats other product candidates including the Apple iPhone 3G, MacBook Air, Nokia E71, Intel Atom, Sony VAIO SR19XP, Lenovo Thinkpad X300, Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP, and ChildBlast Fusion Juggernaut.
