ASUS First Transformer’s Android 4.0 Tablet Delayed until March

ASUS has mentioned some setbacks in getting the Eee Pad Transformer’s Android 4.0 update to users. Though everything seems to be set for mid-February, ASUS briefed owners that it would be ready within a “Feb/March 2012 period”  through its Singapore branch. No explanation was given for the setback, but an exact timeframe was still coming.

The company was already reported to have trouble pushing Android 4.0 to its tablets across the board. While an update was prepared for the later Transformer Prime in January, some still couldn’t make this upgrade. In fact, many users have made their complaints carrying over from Android 3.2 to the new release, such as random freezes.

Promises of fast Android 4.0 updates across the board have failed so far. Motorola at first was going for the update much of its recent lineup early into 2012, but it moved most to spring or summer and has left most of Verizon’s lineup without any schedule.
