Asus Forgots to Ship the Eee PC 1005PR with Broadcom HD Crystal Chip?

Did Asus just forgot to load their new Eee PC 1005PR with one major feature that it announced to have? According to Netbook News, some Amazon customers who purchased the Eee PC 1005PR are complaining that their new Eee PC does not have the Broadcomm HD Crystal chipset on board.

We’re pretty sure that this was one of the specs that we listed when we announced that the Eee PC 1005PR is already for pre-order from Amazon. In fact, it was our number two specs. So, what gives?

When contacted by NetbookNews, Asus didn’t give a definitive answer yet regarding the issue.

So, did Asus intentionally left out the Broadcom Crystal HD chipset when they packed the Eee PC 1005PR? Or is this an honest mistake? Hopefully, Asus does something to remedy this problem real quick.
