ASUS K73SD-TY2670 17.3″ Notebook Now Out in Japan
Asus has with a new notebook called the K73SD-TY2670 for Japanese consumers. Designed for multimedia use, this notebook is packed with a quad-core Intel Core i7 2670QM processor clocked at a frequency of 2.2 GHz in normal use and 3.1 GHz on Turbo Boost mode for high performance computing.
This CPU works with an Intel HM65 Express chipset, a GeForce 610M 1GB graphics card with support for Optimus technology, 8GB of DDR3 RAM. It also has 1TB of storage disk capacity from its two 500 GB hard disk drives. Onboard the laptop is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (SP1) OS.
For its display, the device has an WXGA++ LED-backlit LCD screen that spans 17.3 inches. It has a pixel display resolution of 1600 x 900.
Several ports are available on this laptop, including Ports D-Sub15 pin, HDMI, USB 2.0 (4 ports) and an SD memory card reader (SDXC). There is also a BluRay Disc Drive as well as a webcam to complete the multimedia experience. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are the connectivity options for this laptop.
The device has dimensions of 420mm × 282mm × 34.6 ~ 38.6mm and a weight of 3.1 kg with the battery. Battery life is up to five hours in ideal conditions.
The K73SD-TY2670 retails for 99,800 Yen or around $1,210. The laptop is now available in Japan.
