Out to compete with the likes of the HP 5101 and Dell Latitude 2100 which are both ultra-portable computing machines geared for business use, Asus is re-launching a new version of its Eee PC 1005HA. This time the said netbook will have the monicker -”business” under its hood to signify that ti can very well be used for business purposes.

To make it even more interesting, Asus has loaded the Eee PC 1005HA Business edition with Windows XP Professional as a Vista downgrade. Naturally to meet this requirement, Asus packed the netbook with 2 GB of RAM.

Other than those, the other specs of the Eee PC 1005HA are pretty much the same. These include -10.1 inch display with 1024×600 resolution, Intel Atom N280 CPU, 160GB HDD, 10.2h battery life.

The Eee PC 1005HA is currently available in Japan for around $715.
