Asus Listed Down Two New Netbooks – Eee PC 1015PD, Eee PC 1001PQ

Asus has quietly added two new netbooks to its official Eee product site. These two new Eee PCs bearing identical Eee PC numbers are – Eee PC 1015PD and Eee PC 1001PQ. While both Eee PCs sport the same 10-inch display, there are however some differences when it comes to their specs and features.

The Eee PC 1001PQ is loaded with an Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz CPU, 160GB/250GB HDD and runs Windows 7 Starter. This netbook is also available in two flavors – vibrant gold and flame purple and also features – WiFi, Bluetooth, nine-cell battery with 9 hours battery life, .

The Eee PC 1015PD on the other is more powerful with either a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 or 1.83GHz Intel Atom N475 CPUs. The hard drive is the same with the 1001PQ with 160GB, 250GB or 320GB and also runs Windows 7 Starter Pack. Other specs include – WiFi, Bluetooth, 1GB of RAM (2GB optional), and 13 hours battery life. The Eee PC 1015PD will be available in either blue, white or black design.

Prices and releases dates for these two new netbooks are still unknown at this time.
