This is the first 10 inch model to have a dvd multi drive, and your cheap laptop probably doesn't have this kind of battery life either! Today it's all about being ultraportable. If I want to do high-tech fancy stuff, I can do that at home on my super-powered desktop computer with 22 inch monitor, thank you. For the 10 inch size, this IS a great deal.
