JR.com has put up a pre-order page for the Asus N10 Notebook-Netbook and said machine now has an official price (at least for the said online store). And how much? A whooping $849. And with such a hefty price you’ll get a 10.2-inch Eee PC like notebook/netbook which has the following goodies:

  • Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz Processor
  • 512 KB L2 Cache, 533 MHz Front Bus speed
  • 2GB RAM
  • 250 GB SATA Hard Drive
  • 10.2″ diagonal WSVGA (1024 x 600) Widescreen Display
  • Integrated Webcam
  • Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS with 256MB Dedicated Graphics Memory
  • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (Switchable Graphics)
  • WiFi
  • Card Reader
  • Fingerprint reader
I don’t know about you but the price seems to be too stiff for a notebook/netbook of such caliber. But with the graphics card and accelerator, gamers would definitely be happy if not contented it.

  1. The thing is that the Atom processor is wholly inadequate for gaming; the 9300 isn’t that great either. Give us a Dual-Core atom and 9600M for that price, and we might consider it.
