Asus Outs the Eee Box 1501 in the UK

Oh finally, Asus’ highly anticipated nettop is shipping tomorrow (that’s November 27 for all you UK folks). The catch is, it will only be hitting UK store shelves just yet.

The Eee BOX is equipped with NVIDIA ION Graphics which makes it a perfect display for HD movie viewing. In addition, it is loaded with Intel Atom Dual Core 330 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD, DVD Burner, and Windows 7 Premium.

Amazon has already listed it up for pre-order but since shipping days usually takes 1 to 2 months, you can order it from play.com instead.

Price tag is at £339.

    Has anyone in the UK ordered and received one of these yet? I ordered one via play.com and I’ve yet to be charged or have the item dispatched. Asus say they’ve began shipping. Amazon website says theres a 1-2 month wait for stock. Confused.

    I m in Turkey, I pre-ordered it on 16th DEC 09, and I m still waiting.. today (22nd DEC) they called me and informed that most probably they will have it in the mid of this week or maximum at the end of this week!!
