Asus Plans to Release Some More Eee PCs, Watch Out for the Ultimate S101
Engadget posted a leaked image of Asus Eee PC timeline where the list of previously released Eee PC models are listed as well as still “to-be-released”, “status-uknown” Eee PC models. All, in all there are 23 Eee PCs in the said timeline.
So help me out here and let’s see how many Eee PCs have been released or announced by Asus so far. 5 variants of the Eee PC 7 series (700, 701, 701SD(30GBHD), 701SD, 701SD-4G), 900, 901, 900A (16GB), 900A(8GB), 900(16GB), 900(30GB), 904HD, 904HA, 900HD, 1000, 1000HD, 1000H, 1000HV, 1002, 1002HA, T101, S91, S101.
Those certainly are a lot of models. Most of them are variations in storage. Interesting to note is the T101, S91, S101 which are being touted as high-end models, specifically becomes they are located on top of the list. But as to when and where these new Eee PC models will come out, we have yet to find out.
But really, 23 netbooks? That’s an awful lot.
