Samsung and Asus. These are two names that I do not normally associated with top-billing but it seems that the battery life in both these manufacturers’ models is a winner, and defeats all comers all hands down. Right now my worry is to do with the new ms OS 7. Some netbooks are running with just 1gb RAM, although the general is 4gb. Is 1gb enough to run win7? I am wary as many people I know purchased new laptops when vista was first launched (they were low priced) that only had 1gb and they simply did not run. Any advice much appreciated.
