Asus to Introduce New Netbooks Under Two New Categories
With the many Eee PCs that Asus has released and introduced so far, its pretty obvious that it’s now a pain trying to recall them all and distinguish one from another. The Eee PC Seashell line which Asus introduced last year did nothing to put some sense into Asus product line.
To avoid this confusion, Asus finally realized that it is now time to put some categorization to its Eee PC products. So, Asus might be introducing the Eee PC Diary and Eee PC Prime.
The Eee PC Diary will be a series of netbooks geared for people who are always on the move. Netbooks in these model will offer mini laptop with long battery life and will have focus on reliability and mobile connections. One of the Eee PCs to be released under this wing is the Eee PC 1016P.
The Eee PC Prime on the other hand will be designed as high-end Eee PCs. One of these is the Eee PC 1018p.
Of course the Eee PC Seashell will still be used and would refer to cheap Eee PCs that will be released by Asus in the future.
