Asus to Launch the Eee Pad at Computex 2010
Aside from the new Eee PC that Asus is planning to launch this year, Digitimes is reporting that Asus is also planning to launch a new tablet PC called Eee Pad during the Computex 2010 in Taipei. This tablet PC will feature Nvidia Tegra processor and shall have a price of not more than $500.
The Eee Pad will be manufactured by Asus’ partner – Pegatron Technology.
Related to this, the same report mentioned that the Asus Eee Readers will be launched at a later date in 2010 due to Asus uncertainties over the demand for such devices. Both e-booker readers are unlikely to appear in the channel in the first half of 2010, the sources said.
