The 901 has reasonable value for money, just look at the upgrades..But then again, the MSI Wind, an Eee Pc clone, and I do mean clone spec-wise is at least $150 cheaper then the 901 - now that's what you call exceptional value, but I'm still getting the 901 regardless.

Asus is straying from the original purpose. Two important points:
- low-cost laptops
- small, portable laptops

Fine, the first point was going to fail eventually. No way they were going to keep costs down if they wanted to make money.

The second point is getting lost. These companies are making larger machines instead of refining the smaller ones.

Maybe if I freeze myself until July 8th, I won't have to be patient for the possible release of the 901. ;)
