Asus to Release the Eee PC Shell
Digitimes is reporting that Asustek is now prepping up yet again another Eee PC model to be known as the Eee PC Shell. I know that you’re probably too tired by now hearing about new Eee PC models that sometimes we might be all wondering as to when Asus will stop.
Anyway, the Eee PC Shell is slated to be released sometime in April. This ultra-thin netbook would have a 10.1-inch LCD panel. And although information says that this Eee PC Shell would have higher specs than the Eee PC S101, little is known about it so far. Except for it being easier to carry and has longer battery life. Perhaps longer than the 9.5 hours battery life of the Eee PC 1000HE?
The Eee PC Shell will be priced at around $486-571.
The Eee PC Shell is most likely a direct competitor of Acer’s upcoming 10.1-inch Aspire One which was reported earlier. It will be priced around NT$17,000-20,000 (US$486-571), added the paper.
