Asus to Unveil New Eee PC Seashell 1018P During CeBIT

Asus is about to launch its latest offering under the Eee PC Seashell product series. This time it’s an update of the previously released Eee PC 1008P – the Eee PC 1018p. The said netbook is about to be unveiled tomorrow, but Netbook Italia manages  to get an early preview of the said netbook.

The Eee PC 1018P will sport a brushed aluminum chassis, with a thickness of 18 mm. It features a chicklet-style keyboard and the latest USB 3.0 port which is said to be 10 times faster than the USB 2.0.

Quite surprisingly, the netbook will be equipped with either Intel Atom N455 or N475 instead of the just announced N470. Anyway, the Eee PC 1018p has 10 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 and an optional Bluetooth 3.0.

The netbook will also come preloaded with Syncables Desktop.
